After two years of anticipation, I can finally hunt fallow deer on my new hunting grounds on top of the Italian Apennine mountains.
To the north sits the European Alps and the glittering Mediterranean sea to the south.
In the middle sit the Apennine mountains and the extraordinary people who live here and have shaped my life in many ways.
Fallow deer are on the move, and we are on their tails.
